ATTENTION NON-ATHLETES:

You too can enjoy a great morning out in our beautiful forests for a few hours… we need many volunteers to help out! It really is a fun time! We need helpers at the registration tables, race timers, aid stations & course marshals . Events start at 7:30am and end around noon so you still have the rest of your Saturday to enjoy. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

AN EPIC COURSE FOR EVERYONE!

The Pagosa Duathlon is a run-bike race in three formats: the Full Duathlon is a 6 mile trail run/14 mile mountain bike ride; the Half-Duathlon is a 3 mile run/8 mile ride; the Mini-Du Kid’s Fun Race is for our younger athletes and is a 1 mile run/2 mile ride.

The run is first. The bike portion of the duathlon takes place on a single-track forest service trail and gravel roads. A mountain bike is a must!

Race routes integrate beginner and intermediate levels of single-track trails, dirt and gravel roads. The venue of the San Juan National Forest could not be more perfect for athletes!

Relays are allowed – one person bikes and one person runs.

Please NO DOGS on the course!
